TОMASZ JАNKОWSKI
is a professional historian based in Lviv and Vilnius, founder of Jewish Family Search group. He published award winning Demography of a Shtetl (Brill, 2022) and Hebrew Polish Tango (Polin, 2019). He regularly contributes to the Finding Your Roots TV series. Jankowski’s research focuses on the social history of Jews in east-central Europe. He has received numerous grants, including from the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Institute For Jewish Genealogy and Paul Jacobi Center at National Library of Israel.
